Your host & teacher

Come to my home away from home.

I'm Lydia, and I can't wait to welcome you to the Lake District for three nights of movement, rest, connection and adventure. Time to deepen your practice, reconnect with nature, eat beautifully, and step away from the busyness of everyday life. Whether you come to recharge, to meet like-minded people, or simply to give yourself a weekend of wellbeing — this one's for you.

Saturday & Sunday — morning Vinyasa, breakfast, then a guided hike or free time; lunch; an optional wild swim or rest; evening Mandala and dinner together.

Monday — morning practice, breakfast, and check-out by 10:00am.

No two days will feel rushed — there's space to slow down and enjoy it at your own pace.

You'll be in good company. Plenty of guests come on their own, and it's one of the loveliest ways to do a retreat — you arrive to a warm welcome, shared meals and an easy, friendly group, with no pressure to be sociable every hour of the day.

If you book a Shared Twin on your own, Lydia will match you with another solo guest. Prefer your own space? The Private Room is there for exactly that.

The practices are designed for those already comfortable with a regular yoga practice. If you're not sure whether they'll suit you, or you have an injury or access need, message Lydia before you reserve — she'd far rather chat it through first.

Guests stay in characterful accommodation at the venue, a short stroll between buildings. Every room is ensuite.

Shared Twin · £525 per person — a comfortable ensuite room shared by two. Beds are either a superking that converts to two singles, or two single beds. Booking as a couple? The superking can stay as one superking double — just say so when Lydia is in touch.

Private Room · £625 — an ensuite double room for sole occupancy. There is only one of these on the retreat.

1. Reserve. Choose your room and send your name and email. Nothing is charged on this website.

2. Lydia emails you. She'll confirm your place is available, take you through the details and arrange your £250 non-refundable deposit. Your place is confirmed once that deposit is received.

3. The balance. The rest is paid in full later, ahead of the retreat. Shared Twin: £275. Private Room: £375. Lydia will confirm the exact due date by email — it will be clearly stated before you pay anything.

Full details are in the booking terms.

The retreat is in the heart of the Lake District. The full address, directions, nearest station and parking details are sent to you once your place is confirmed, along with everything you'll need for arrival.

Check-in from 4:00pm, Friday 23 April · check-out by 10:00am, Monday 26 April.

Travelling by train or hoping to share a lift? Mention it when Lydia is in touch and she'll help where she can.

Comfortable clothes to practise in, warm layers, waterproofs and walking shoes or boots for the hike, and a swimming costume and towel if you fancy the wild swim. It's the Lakes in April — bring something cosy for the evenings.

Mats, blocks and bolsters are all provided, though you're very welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer it.

Dietary requirements or allergies? Tell Lydia when she's in touch and she'll pass them to Paula.
